May 21st at 6PM, Dinner and 1 CE -"Till Death Do We Part: The Life-long Journey of the Bariatric Patient"

Presenter: Tina Musselman RD, CCN
St. James Center for Bariatric Surgery *Mind, Body &Wellness Institute

As the popularity of bariatric surgery increases, dietitians in all settings will be challenged to provide appropriate and effective nutrition interventions. Tina will present an overview and current recommendations for interventions pre and post surgery as well as long term nutrition strategies for management of the bariatric patient.

Are you interested in programs and resources for people with diabetes? The teleseminar: Improving Care for People with Diabetes Using Expert Resources is slated for Thursday, April 24. Lawrence Blonde, MD, FACP, FACE, and Joanne Gallivan, MS, RD, of the National Diabetes Education Program, will outline new newest treatments and patient education resources for practitioners who work with clients/patients with diabetes.
